The Richmond Institute for Continuing Dental Education would not be what it is today without its authors. We seek a wide variety of authors who are highly credible and experienced in their fields within dentistry.  Authors are welcome from a variety of backgrounds including, but not limited to, Private Practice, Dental Education, and Dental Research. We work alongside our authors to ensure that The Richmond Institute courses cover current topics and include relevant, interesting, and non-commercial information that enhances learning.

MEET OUR AUTHORS

Dr. Bery, DDS, got his Endodontics Specialty Degree in 1983 at the University of Illinois, where he also did research and teaching. He then went into private practice for Endodontics in Evanston Illinois.  [Read More]

Pamela Brilowski, RDH, MS, graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1984. She has practiced dental hygiene in a variety of clinical settings over the past 27 years.  [Read More]

Evelyn Cuny, MS, BA is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety and Assistant Professor in the department of Dental Practice at Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry. Ms. Cuny is a consultant to the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs and the FDI Education Committee.[Read More]

Louis G. DePaola, DDS, MS, is a Professor in the Department of Oncology & Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Dental School. He received his DDS in 1975, completed a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine and the American College of Dentists, and has a Certificate in Prosthodontics.  [Read More]

Robert Paul Langlais, BA, DDS, MS, FACD, FICD, FRCD(C), is a Diplomate to ABOM, a Diplomate to ABOMR, the founder and director for the graduate division, and a professor in the division of Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine. [Read More]

Margaret J. Fehrenbach, RDH, MS, is a Dental Hygiene Educational Consultant and Dental Science Technical Writer as well as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the Online BASDH Degree Program at St. Petersburg College, FL. JoAnn R. Gurenlian, RDH, PhD, has a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Columbia University, and a Doctoral degree specializing in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Gurenlian has been active in dental hygiene for over 35 years, having served as a former chairperson of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Thomas Jefferson University and former President of the ADHA.
